Our family recipe from Phoenix Arizona has become a local favorite on the gulf coast. We have been involved with several local farmers markets and restaurants since 2012. We started in a small cafe in Summerdale, Alabama by means of Gabby at 14 years old. Her inspiration and drive as a young Latina female entrepreneur opened the door for what we now operate as a family business. Our location moved to Katy’s Catering in Foley, Alabama to the present. With an additional opportunity that provided us at Playa restaurant making fresh tortillas for the menu. As time passed we then continued to provide tamales and Our Arizona style food to the Palafox Market in Pensacola, Fairhope and on occasion Foley. PS Taco, now in Foley, uses our tortillas with a new flavor as well as Cereal Killer in Fairhope creating a mouth watering corn tortilla breakfast taco. Throughout the year we cater along side Katy’s Catering and develop our recipes to bring out the style of Gabby’s Tortillas.
In 2013, the Tamale Hut started at the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermen’s Market selling the sole tortilla. As progressed we added fillings, made different sizes and ultimately made the Tamale we have today. Our menu has incorporated the talents of several chefs making what we now provide to fans that come to our area year round
